Medical Accessories & Research Corporation offers a complete line of standard and custom Tru-Bones® to meet all of your training and educational requirements. Our Tru-Bones® are designed to cut, feel and look like real bone. Developed to minimize dust, cracking and chipping with hand/power instruments. All Tru-Bones® are available in clear, foam cortical, and white plastic.

Tru-BonesTM are available in high polished clear, anatomical clear, foam or plastic for product display. Models can be modeled with custom cuts for implants, cages or plates and mounted on a variety of bases.

Tru-BonesTM are available in all skeletal components.

Tru-BonesTM E (Economy)
     Our economy workshop bone has a rigid foam cortical shell with less dense foam cancellous, which includes an intermedullary canal. Designed to be cut, drilled, taped or gouged by hand or with the use of power instruments for optimal realism. Most commonly used for total joint replacement and fixation.

Tru-BonesTM P (Plus)
      Same physical characteristics as Tru-BonesTM E (Economy), however we have added our patented moistening process, drastically reducing air-bone dust during mechanical cutting. In addition to less dust, the cancellous appearance is tinted to mimic real bone cancellous. Commonly used when air-bone dust is undesirable or a more realistic visual effect is desired.

Tru-BonesTM X (X-ray)
      Same physical characteristics as Tru-BonesTM E (Economy), but with physical characteristics that allow for a more visible fluoroscopic image. Commonly embedded in our life-like soft tissue models and used in workshops that demonstrate minimally invasive surgical techniques involving the use of fluoroscopic imaging to determine placement of needles, screws or implants.

Tru-BonesTM C (Custom)
     Same physical characteristic as Tru-BonesTM E (Economy), only customized to meet your exact specifications of deformity or fracture. All that is needed is a scanned image or exact description as to the alteration.
